You always carry staphylococcus bacteria on you, especially around and, in your nasal membrane. For some reason your body has dropped in it's regular cycle to take care of it through your immune system and it gradually enters your normal system and, your body looses the ability to fight it off, hence, the anti-biotics to help you along.
Sometimes these anti-biotics don't work, for what ever reason, maybe to light, so the doctor gives you another one, stronger. They take time to work, sometimes up to ten days. You should start feeling it within three days or so however.

It's important for young people to not pick their noses, do not under any circumstances pick at pimples on your face, you can create a horror scene of a staph infection doing this.
Keep your hands away from your face if possible.

You might have an antibiotic resistant strain of staph. Go back to the doctor and continue treatment; you may need to switch antibiotics and take them for a longer period of time.

Visit your health provider. Most staph infections can be treated with antibiotics.

Never share your towels and razors. Always wash your hands as many times as possible.
