and dying from the triple E visus in mosquitos? there is a 23 year old boy in Ma thats paralized now and fighting for his life due to a mosquito bite infected with triple E, and they tested several areas in ma and NH and found more of the infected bugs, why would people want to Stop mosquito spraying? are they soft? how many will have to die before we spray like we used to when I was a kid?

3 days ago my arms started feeling really sore. All I could remember doing out-of-routine was toting a case of water. But the next day they were even sorer, and my legs too - quads and calves. I feel like I competed in a triathlon! A couple days behind me my husband mysteriously feels the same way. He has had a nasal cold/sore throat for a couple weeks now, too. My throat is bugging me a little now too. This is so bizarre...could it be some sort of virus or bacterial infection? Neither of us did any new workout. We're both physically fit.

In 2 weeks, myself & my wife who is breastfeeding our 6 month old son are all going on vacation to Floridia with some friends; one friends currently has a abcess - staph infection. She is on antibiotics (started 4 days ago). Will my friend still be contagious? Is it safe for my wife and 6th month old son to go on the trip with someone who is being treated for a staph infection? What precautions should we take if we do go?
Please give a detailed answer.

It could be a swollen lymph node or a cyst of some sort. I am not sure....she has been fighting a cold for about a week or so. It hurts her to bend her neck, (putting her ear to her shoulder). About three weeks ago she was throwing up, I thought it was the 24hr bug. She has a history of not haveing a sore throat and haveing strep throat before. She has been coughing, and she says when she coughs her throat hurts only then. I think I am going to bring her to the dr.'s tomorrow. What do you all think??

My doc told me to get rest and gave me vitamin c plus echinacea. There no cure just treatments for mono and it has to run its course, that might last for another 3 weeks...Yeah. Im not very happy with this out come and its the first week of school for me. Is there any thing else beside what my doctor told me to do to stop the prolonged effects of the sickness. just to get better faster im going to have a *** load of work when i get back and im trying to avoid that. my 1 yr old baby has scratched the inside of his neck with a plastic syringe ,i cud see a bit of blood coming out but cudnt make out exactly from where???he is also having tnsillitis ,wat shud i do he is constantly dripping saliva ...is it risky or are the tonsillitis medication ...augmentin,suprastin enuff

I had a disturbing talk with my friend yesterday. She thinks AIDS is ONLY found in the gay community. Her words were "If the guy's not gay, why would his parents be worried about him getting AIDS?" I said "It's not a gay disease. That's how it entered the US, but that's not what it is anymore. She says the only straight people who have AIDS are either born with it, or they were into both guys and girls. I really don't think she will listen to reason, but can someone prove her wrong???

I've seen a doctor and was told that my indigestion caused the dizziness, anyway I didnt feel any better after that. My blood pressure is normal(120/80).The symtoms already persist a week. I even feel like i am imbalance while sitting, standing or walking. I dont think i have vertigo because I can see things clear but just very diffucult to concentrate in my work. My left arm feel like no energy if compare to my right arm. Could it be the symtom of serious disease? I am worry.

She is hot and cold both at the same time - so that and the cough sounds to me more like bronchitis?She has no fever that I can find. She gets a sore throat from coughing, and the cough sounds like whopping cough but aslo sounds a lot like a bronchits cough (which we have both had) Also I'd like to know, if it is whopping cough - I know it is contagious and bad for pregnant women (or the unborn baby) BUT how long does exposure have to be? My nieghbor who is preg came by the other day just to borrow a screwdriver. She was only here maybe 3 min. Can whopping cough or bronchits spread by just being in the same room? By breathing the same air. The baby is due the 23 of this month. The mother is approx 23 or so. Should I tell her that she may have gotten it? How can I tell if it is whopping cough or bronchits? She doesn't 'whoop' but I did find out that not everyone does. I did find that much on the web.
