Why don't they teach birth control to the women in Africa and other countries?

You see the women with their children dying and they are holding a little one in their arms and
















You see a woman with 7 or 8 kids ,holding one and pregnant with another one. The kids are dying and they still breed like cockroaches. They should be fixed!!! What say you?

I completely agree!!! I have said this many of times and people have judged me about it! They say that it’s mean of me to say that and they shouldn’t have the 'right to have children' taken off them...BUT they shouldn’t have kids if they cannot look after them! i mean COME ON...these poor kids are dying!! Now who’s being mean??

How bout instead of giving us the sob story to make us donate money for food etc...why doesn't this money go towards birth control instead...it will save a lot of poor children suffering!

HOW do you teach these people to take a pill or buy a rubber that they CAN NOT afford? Then there is the whole culture. I mean Americans didn't really start using condoms until AFTER HIV so if this is what people mean by "acting like monkeys" then AMERICANS are NO BETTER.
Before HIV (1984) the majority of American men were having Bisectomies instead of wearing condoms.
We still have so many men IN THE US. complaining about how they can't feel anything when they wear condoms.
There are many people in Africa trying to teach about protection and about not having sex at all, but people in the end just keep doing whatever they want and think to be correct.

They DO teach it. The whole reason they have so many children is that most of them do not survive childhood to become adults and take care of the family when they are older. Women have all these kids so that when they are old, they might have at least ONE of them around so they can be taken care of. It's not all hunger and disease killing these children either. There are lots of poisonous snakes, spiders, etc. that are around these people all the time. Not to mention many of the families and tribes over in those counries have been at war with other families and tribes since before recorded history. Not to mention, but slavery is still rampant in the world. Many children are kidnapped and sold to other tribes. It's just the world they live in. It isn't pretty. So they survive any way they can.

Poverty is probably the biggest reason... they just don't have the resourses to invest in contraception. Another reason could be social norms... it may be taboo for their religion/culture.
