Does the lack of minerals in the bottled water make it safe? The Dr. told this individual bottled water went right through you. I drink a lot of bottled water and find this to be true. Are you hydrated as well drinking bottled water?

My husband has recently been diagnosed as Diabetic, so he is on a low carb diet. He has always had a healthy appetite so the small amounts of food are leaving him hungry. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what he can eat in between meals as a "snack" that is low in carbs and sugar??? Thanks a bunch - any information would be appreciated!!

So i'm really interested in blood sugar and diabetes and my diabetes Type II runs in my family. I've been taking my blood sugar about once a day for the last 3 weeks. The lowest I have been was 76 and the highest was 157 (this was about 4 hours after supper one night and I really wasn't feeling well). I just took my blood sugar because I'm really not feeling well (tiredness, nausea, headache, and a few other things) and it was 149. Could this be a reason I'm not feeling well? I've taken it a few days 4 times a day and my blood sugar is kind of strange because it is low in the morning (so that's not weird) then goes high before lunch and supper then kind of drops off. Could I have pre-diabetes?

I went to my doctor recently and he sent me home with a glucometer to test my blood sugar levels. Whenever I was feeling symptomatic I would take my blood sugar. Most of the time when I was symptomatic the reading would come out to the range of 64-72. Is this considered low? I have a follow up appointment on Thursday, but I was just curious as to whether this is a level that would make me slightly hypoglycemic, and would explain the symptoms I keep having.

There are instances in many diseases where natural treatments are better or just as good as conventional medicine.

I was after scientific articles displaying evidence for natural treatments in gangrene...of course, taking into account the co-use of conventional medicine such as antibiotics.

Ive been a diabetic for 11 years now. Im now 22 years old. About a year ago, I stopped taking my insulin and eating anything i wanted. Dont ask me why, i was just an idiot. Since then, Ive lost a lot of weight, about 25 pounds ( i was already skinny so its a big difference) and my blood sugar has gone WAYYY up. Ive recently started takin my insulin again and gained about 5 pounds. Does the weight loss have anything to do with insulin rejection?... Also i was wondering what is a really good diet to follow, that wont leave me starving after a meal. Thanks for reading guys.
