Have you been to see a doctor about it?
It's very important that you not squeeze a boil. Use hot compresses (soak cloth in hot water and Epsom salts) several times a day. If you feel that it may be getting ready to open, you can gently pull on the outside edges, but never squeeze. Keep the area clean and as protected as possible.
You may want to ask your doctor about an antibiotic, because I believe that boils are the result of staph infection.
I had a boil on my elbow many years ago and still remember the pain. The doctor put my arm in a sling and had me sleep with it elevated. I used compresses and had to take antibiotics. It took quite some time to clear up and was no fun at all. You have my sympathy.

Boils are bumps in the skin which are often filled with pus. Boils are formed under the skin when the hair follicles are infected by the staphylococcus aureus (staph) bacteria . Mosquito and other insect bites also cause a bump on the skin, but the swelling is due to the toxins in the bite. A lot of information on causes ,treatment, remedies and prevention of boils can be found at

I cannot answer as a medical doctor, but it is my understanding that they are a result of something in the blood stream. I have had only one in my life and know the suffering. It will eventually come to a head. Try putting hot compress on it. Good luck.

Very little information on your question.
But, if you're taking insulin and you repeatedly use the same spot this is possible.
One should change injecting spots all the time in order to prevent such things or yellow spots and other nasty stuff!
