I take Actos in addition to Glucophage/Metformin. I have lost weight since I've been on the perscription but feel that is due to a drastic change in diet and exercise moreso than the meds.

I've been taking Actos for approx. 2 years, and initially had some weight gain due to water retention. My dr. prescribed a water pill, and that has seemed to help.

I don't take it. I have a friend who is taking actos + met and she has not gained weight from it at all.
