I have 3 dogs two which shed lots of hair. My question is do i start to have the allergies because hair is shed and touched or because once the hair falls the dander floats in the air? Allergy tests show i am allergic to dogs therefore i am now starting allergy shots.

I took my 13 month old to the Emergency room today after she broke out in what seemed to me and Allergic Reaction, HEr doctor told me it was a Viral Rash, and You have to wait and let it run its coarse... But seeing that he was an Emergency room Doctor, and not her normal Doctor (being that it was Sunday) He was in and out before I could even ask or think of any questions... I am 39 weeks Pregnant... Could this "Viral Rash" (which i never heard of before) HArm me or the baby? Is it contagious? Can any one find me information on this condition... so i may know a little more than i found out... Thanks

I am 38 now but have had an issue with my eyelid swelling since I was about 16. I went to the eye dr back in the day and she said it's has nothing to do the the eye but rather the eyelid. She said that there are bump on the inside of my eyelid that seems to be inflamed all the time and that something is making more inflamed from time to time which makes the lids swell, sometime even closes the eye completly. This seems to happen more when I am ill or my ammune system is down. Does anyone know what is cuasing this or how to get the swelling down quickly.

I'm just wondering if I'm allergic to coffee or not. I've read places that people say it could be the caffeine which is affecting you (I don't know how true that is, as I'm very used to consuming large amounts of caffeine) and I've also read that it could be a lactose intolerance problem. As I know I already have the latter, and how I feel when I'm having those problems, it seems very unlikely. I just drank about 5 mouthfuls of coffee. I felt fine for a minute or so, but then I started feeling quite sick. It's been about half an hour now (I tipped the rest of the coffee out) and I'm getting slight stomach cramps, I'm feeling nauseated, and like I'm going to throw up. The first few times I ever drank coffee was when I was about 8 years old, and I felt fine at first, and then sick, much like now. I'm feeling pretty weak and dizzy right now, and just want to lie down. How is it possible to be allergic to coffee? How can you be?

I used regular deodorant for years, but now I have an allergy. I found a few deos that don't have aluminum, but---let's just say, I'm not satisfied.
Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know a better alternative?
Thanks.

I had a bad allergic reaction to diclofenac in the summer. Itching, flushing, red eyes, hoarseness, wheezing, feeling faint. I took a piriton immediately and my mother phoned an ambulance. I was given oxygen (I was blue lipped apparently) by the paramedics and taken to hospital. However I was recovering quite quickly by then so after some basic health checks was sent home.
My GP just said to avoid diclofenac in the future, nothing else. What I wondered was, did I have anaphylaxis or just an allergic reaction? When is an allergic reaction classed as anaphylaxis?

We bought a house 2 months ago and about a month ago i started to feel sick all teh time. First of all I thought it was just an allergy to housedust etc. I sneezed and had the burning sinusses but antihistamien didn't solve the problem and it is now a month later and I have full blown cold symptoms: runny nose one very blocked nostril and severe coughing. my husband is feeling a little ill but not as severe. I thought about carbon monoxide poisoning but we don't have any fires in the house or heaters. Can radiators make you ill?

My baby boy is 9 months old. He was suffered from Itchy Eyes, Running Nose and little bit cough and sneezing. Our doctor said that it may has allergy so he gave anti-allergy syrup (Loratadine) to him for 15 days (2 times a day). After 15 days, he recovered but only for 1 week only. Again he attacked by same symptoms and this time he has low grade fever also. Doctor again said it is may allergy or cold so no problem. Give him paracetamol if there is fever and anti-allergy syrup to him. Fever has gone after 3 days but still he is suffering frm red itchy eyez and running nose. Kindly anybdy tell me wat is this or how long cold takes to go?
