Sometimes whenever I eat Avocado I get an itchy tongue and mouth, which is really odd but non-life threatening, so I'm wondering if this sort of allergy is rare or not.

Thanks.

Last night my husband made dinner (a mexican dish with beef, salsa, & onions) & we ate it with corn tortillas. I took a bite & it tasted okay, a little spicy but good. I finished my meal & I had eaten about a half of a cup of the mixture. Shortly thereafter, I felt extremely dizzy, nauseated, and had a major headache, and I felt lethargic. These symptoms lasted through the night and into this morning. My husband and two-year-old son also ate this meal and were fine.

Does this sound like food poisoning or something worse??

My first thought was food poisoning but my husband & I are having marital issues & have been contemplating divorce.

Any advice is appreciated.

My daughter was diagnosed for Milk Protein Allergy at 6 Months old, when I tried to give her youghurt, she broke out of rashes and vomited, almost could not breathe. She was brestfed till she was 1 year old, and never had any problem with my milk(I eat dairy). Now she is 2 and a half year old, drinks ricemilk, growing fine, but it`s starts to get more and more difficult, since she can`t eat what other kids eat and drink at school and b-day parties. We can`t even kiss her after eating dairy, because she breaks out in rashes, and ichy bumps. Her doctor says almost all kids outgrow it by age 5-6. Is anybody know a child who has outrown the milk allergy, or can give me some advice how to cope with it?

I just need something for in the bedroom.
Luckily I'm not allergic to dust mites - but dog and dust is another matter - and I'm thinking about moving in with boyfriend - and he is rather attached to the pooch (ok, me too)

I woke up this morning with hives on my face and neck and I've tried to think of something I used in the past few days that was new and could have caused them. The only thing I could think of was my new lemon and chamomile refill for my glade plug in? Could this be the problem? And how do I get rid of the hideous hives quickly?

Everytime I over eat with pizza, I get fatiqued and constipated. Yesterday I ate pizza, and my stomach started to feel funny. Then I went to the bathroom and it came out wattery a little and then soft blops. Then I got up and felt light headed. And then I started feeling fatique.

This happened before, but I would feel fatiqued until I cleaned myself out with milk of magnesia because I would be constipated. I never listen to myself everytime and always stuff my gut with 6 slices of pizza. I know I need to stop, but i LOVE pizza lol.

Does it sound like a food allergy in the cheese or just I overate or stomach flu?

For 8 months now my throat has felt like it's not draining properly. I was living in the Middle East and picked up a virus which led to sinusutus, this mixed with the dust and pollution there made me quite ill but I shook the sinusitus and thought I would get better.

Since moving back to the UK I have had this feeling of post nasal drip, where it feels like my throat is filling up with fluid. I have the constant need to clear my throat and cough, then it fills back up. I have been to see an ENT specialist who ran all the allergy tests which came up negative, also a barium swallow through which showed nothing untoward. He has had me on acid reflux tablets now for a month but they aren't doing anything. He's run out of ideas (?!). I am NOT a smoker.

Please someone help me, I'm going out of my mind. It feels like there is a pool of water CONSTANTLY in my throat.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Earlier this year I went out for a meal and was violently ill all night after eating a dodgy mussel; it was the only thing that I ate and my friends didn't- none of them became ill. Recently I ate koni-koni (an abalone type mollusc) and became ill again although a number of other people also ate it this time. Have I developed a sensitivity to shellfish? Is this likely to be a life-long problem or will it pass? Should I keep trying shellfish to build up a ‘tolerance’ or will my reactions keep getting worse?

I love mussels, scallops etc and can’t imagine a life without eating them!

Alright, so I love fruits and vegetables, but the problem is, with raw ones, with the exception of really acidic ones, my mouth starts to itch whenever I eat them, including with soy milk. I am on the transition to becoming vegan and this is an issue. I have heard people saying that there is something in raw fruits and vegetables that people can be allergic to that cooks out. It is more annoying than risky, except with melon, even watermelon which is alot water I get a swollen throat, but with everything else I can deal with it, it is just super irritating, has anyone heard of this before? Anyone know what I can do?

Pseudoephedrine gives me bad heart palpitations and extreme anxiety, leads to chest pains. I've tried taking Zyrtec, which has Psuedo and the side effects made me feel so bad, I stopped taking the med.

I've asked the allergiest to change my medication, he gave me Allergra D, same thing bad side effects, mostly bad heart racing/anxiety, that last the entire time I was taking the med, once I stopped a few days later, side effects go away.

Is there any allergy medication, that doesn't contain Pseudo or similar ingredient, I can take to help with allergies ?? Or any allergy med that doesn't cause harsh side effects. Thanks for any help.
