ive found a 2 inch saw patch on my dog but he hasent cut hiself you hurt his self so i think it could be flees but he ant gone any so where has this ichy patch came from

How old is dog? Under four years you need to keep them on a normal dog food. After four years you need to reduce the amount of protein in the food. If you do not than the dogs kidneys fine it harder to excrete the protein and so the dog ends up scratching until the hair falls out.

If it is a flea allergy, your dog's fur will begin falling out in clumps and will get worse and worse. Of course many skin conditions look exactly the same. Consult a vet as soon as possible. It could be a food allergy also in which case a switch to a lamb and rice formula could solve the problem, but there is no way to know until you see the vet.

could be any sort of skin disease...go to the vets.
