I am 38 now but have had an issue with my eyelid swelling since I was about 16. I went to the eye dr back in the day and she said it's has nothing to do the the eye but rather the eyelid. She said that there are bump on the inside of my eyelid that seems to be inflamed all the time and that something is making more inflamed from time to time which makes the lids swell, sometime even closes the eye completly. This seems to happen more when I am ill or my ammune system is down. Does anyone know what is cuasing this or how to get the swelling down quickly.

confident it does. you need to purchase it on the drugstores or at walgreens or wal-mart. you will discover it everywhere actual. Its very reliable. yet another element for swollen eyelids is placed a spoon interior the freezer for sort of 15-20 min and placed on your eyelids and eyes. It helps swollen down the eyes somewhat yet works.

you can try cool compresses for swelling and to help relieve itching sometimes oil glands can get blocked up and cause a big bump inside the eyelid in which when that is the case use warm compresses. sometimes when that bump gets bad enough an ophthalmologist can perform a slight in office surgery to remove it but you can get scarring and it can always come back.

If you've noticed and more drastic change when you are ill, chances are it is swollen now due to allergies. Take a claritin or a benadryl and see if that'll help. You should see results within 1-3 hours. Good luck!

go see the docter again and tell them what is happening, and ask what you can do about the swelling. maybe ask if you could get the bump removed too.
