I heard that the asthma attack is different from just having asthma symtoms. I suffer from asthma and for the past 3 weeks, I have been very bad. I have woken up in the middle of the night from hearing my wheeze. I was just diagnosed with asthma this year. I have never had an Asthma Attack and don't know how it feels. I really would like to know because I don't want to die when it happens.

Lately I've been getting an odd sensation of pins and needles in my arms, chest, back, and head, basically most of the top half of my body. It occurs randomly at least once every day while I'm walking somewhere. Usually I just ignore it, but the sensation sometimes gets really strong and even itchy and it drives me crazy, I have no idea what it could be. Also I've noticed that my left arm is a little numb in one area, whereas the same spot on my other arm is fine, but it's a noticeable difference in feeling. I'm just hoping that it's not something serious. Anyone else have anything similar or know what it could be?

I am 57 yrs old. I had a MRI done in May and it showed a mass on my Psoas Muscle. I had another one done this month the mass is still there but smaller. I had a biopsy done last Friday and it showed the cells on the outer edge to be abnormal.
Now they want to remove it surgically. I have mixed feelings. I don't have the time, I don't have the money and not sure I have the desire to deal with it. The surgery and the followup treatments.
They are not sure what kind of cells they are but most likely sarcoma.
I really have mixed feelings right now.

Its my third day taking the 5 day dosage (with 2 pills the first day). They're the little pink pills. I'm a 19 yr old male in college, and I've drank on antibiotics before, but it was a different antibiotic and i had an adverse reaction (i.e. more puking than normal for a hangover)... I'm wondering if Zithromax will produce the same reaction (puking, diarrhea) if I only drink moderately over this weekend. Thanks for help!

During the winter, I have problems with dry skin. At times it gets so bad that the itching almost drives my crazy. What can I do besides slathering myself in lotion?

I have a slow heartbeat, and when I am laying down or taking a bath, I can, at times, lose conciousness or just visually black out when standing.

I'm curious as to exactly what's happening, and if there is medication or specific foods I can eat to increase my blood pressure.

Thanks

Let's say the boyfriend has a cold and his girlfriend made him wear a mask to contain the germs while they were having sex! They didn't kiss at all! He didn't even cough or sneeze. Basically, they had an unprotected quickie and she left his house as soon as they were finished! Can the common cold be transmitted this way?

Her symptoms are shortness of breath, fever, fatigue, coughing up green and yellow, and extreme heaviness on the chest. Pneumonia? Pleuresy? Are antibiotic's or an x-ray suggested?

I have type two diabetes and for it take two cholesterol tablets daily, two blood pressure tablets daily and a major tranqueliser daily.

I have my blood checked every six weeks.

This last time, one of my enzymes was high. I can't remember which one exactly it was but it was something like ATP.

I am a little freaked out. I mean, what is the point of taking medication if the medication is going to kill me.

Anyway, does anybody know anything about this and have an answer for me? Thanks.

My husband has sleep apnea, he has not been diagnosed, but every night i have to nudge him 10 times so he starts breathing again. He is dead set that it is something in our apartment that is causing his apnea. He thinks the vents are so dirty, they are the reason. That or the air is sooo dry his throat sticks together. I have never read about environmental things causing apnea, but who knows. Please anyone, have you ever heard of something like this?

Okay, i warn you, this might be gross......

There is a sore on the bottom of my left foot that wont go away, and is actually getting worse. I am not sure what it is or where it came from.

The sore started off about 2 months ago. A patch of skin on the bottom of my foot (about the size of a nickel), started to dry out and crack a little. I put lotion on it, etc, to try and help.

This spot is getting bigger. Sometimes, it is very raw looking and swollen. Sometimes, it is full of yellow puss. Sometimes, it is just a big blister. Sometimes it braks open, and the skin underneath it looks weird..... There are a bunch of little holes in the skin underneath it.

I have put antibiotic creams, etc, on it and nothing is helping. Im kind of embarased to go to the doctor for a little sore on my foot, but it really hurts. I walk on the side of my foot so i dont put pressure on it.

The skin around the sore is dried out and thick, with a yellow tint to it.

What could this sore be?
