my aunt told me to use a hot compress on my eye but are there any other ways? or any ointments or something you're supposed to use?

She is right - that's the prescribed treatment unless it gets worse.

You should apply the compress 4-6 times a day for about 15 minutes.

A stye will go away on it's own usually in 5-7 days.

If symptoms get worse - see an eye doctor (ophtamologist)

there are ointments that you can use, but most are prescribed by a doctor. I had one a few weeks ago, and used hot compresses on my eye. Some say a very warm tea bag can be helpful. If it gets worse, I'd see a doc, but in the meantime hot compresses and wash your hands alot.
Good luck.

If it doesn't go away with the hot compresses, you may have to see a Dr. for antibiotic cream for your eye.

i went to dr. for one. they gave me very expensive eye drops, and told me to put hot compresses on it for 10 minutes every 2 hours.
