I've been to the dermatologist for it and they gave me a shampoo for it and it would take almost a year they said to clear. but i was wondering if anyone knew of something can clear it alot easier.thanks!

My dad has a bump behind his knee that seems to be recurring. he had it drained once before, but it has returned. what is this from and is there any preventive measures he can take? My dad's is 85 yrs old and is still very active... thank God!!!

For the past 3 years I have had severe leg pain. It was gotten worse over the 3 years. Last november I started having swelling. Sometimes my ankles will be the size of my knees. I am currently on up to 180mg of morphine daily so that I can function and work. I am also on Lyrica and cymbalta for nueropathy. I have seen a neurologist, a vascular specialist, and had tethered cord realease surgery done. I had Spina bifida when I was born and had tethered cord syndrom. I have run out of ideas of where to go next. I am tired of being on the meds. I gained 65 lbs in less than 3 months, which can't help with the pain. I also had a rheumatoid factor that came back extremely high, but since the other blood work has all come back normal the rheumatologist doesn't want to do anything. I need Ideas or suggestions. I'm only 24. Thank god my husband is very understanding and helpful, he has had to carry me into bed sometimes because I can't walk. I need some ideas. Please!!

Is it possable to alergic to meat? One of the little girls in the class I was working in today said that she is alergic to beef and pork. I've never heard of this before. Anyone know if it's true? Or as I think it might be something that her parents have told her to stop her from eatting meat as I think they are both vegan.

i got a scar from a car accident. the scar don't look that bad but it run from my forehead to my hairline. now there a part where my hair wont grow back. i also got an acne scar from a pimple i pop it is right under my nose and it make a weird line now my face looks so bad. i been feeling depress now since 3/8/07. what should i do i don't have fun doing anything anymore. my grade came from a 2.5 g.p.a. to a 0.5. i 'm so stress out. is there a way i can get rid of the acne scar to fade alway asap. i am now using MERDERMA but it does'nt really work yet.. please help me out guys i am so stress. i use to be a pretty boy now i look like a no good gang banger. girls use to just ask me out on the spot now the girls that use to like me say i like bad now. i use to be so insecure i got over that because i realize i look good but then the car accident happen now i am back to being insecure again. it hurts when you know your depressed and you her girl that use to like you say bad things

I guess that this is mainly directed towards people with caramel to dark skin. Why is it that when they sometimes tan, the tan never fades away? The tanning line on my feet hasn't faded and I have had it for one year.

Itchy rash. I am using cortisone cream for the itch but it isn't helping much. I have been working outside the last couple of days with wood that is treated, could the chemical in the wood be to blame? I'm really begining to worry because I am highly allergic to poison ivy and was hopitalized as a small child. Could it be that? HELP!

Are there any pump users out there who also use Lantus? I was taken off my pump 4 years ago and put back on shots (Humalog) and daily Lantus. I want to go back on my pump and I have an appointment to see my doctor about it tomorrow. I was taken off the pump because I needed the Lantus and at the time, there was not enough research involving the use of Lantus while also on a pump. I've been hearing that many pump users also take a daily injection of Lantus, but at a lower doasge (I take 30 units of it a day). I emailed Minimed but I have not yet gotten a response. I would like to see what others have to say. My pump does work...I put batteries in it, fired it up, ran the self test and it works fine. I even got out an infusion set and inserted it (the pump is NOT hooked up...I will wait for my doctor's approval).

I need to obtain my medical records from infancy for current re-evaluation. They did tests on me 28 years ago that are essential to current diagnosis. (so I'm told). My records were all with a Dr. who is now deceased. Does anyone know how I can find 28 year old medical records? Could they have been destroyed?
