TB is airborne, so anyone you live with is at risk, anyone you work with is at risk, and anyone you come in close contact with is at risk.
Being airborne, it isn't hard to contract TB if you come in close contact with someone that has an active case and isn't careful about their own exhalations, elevator, escalator, line up in the grocery, I am always wary of anyone that is coughing and keep at least three feet between myself and them.
