I've been to the dermatologist for it and they gave me a shampoo for it and it would take almost a year they said to clear. but i was wondering if anyone knew of something can clear it alot easier.thanks!

There are other treatment options but a doctor's prescription is needed. You can take one dose of ketoconazole or five doses of sporanox but, depending what medications you take, these might be contra-indicated. Diflucan can also be taken. The oral route is the fastest. Please note, if you live in a warm, humid environment, once treatment is complete, you may still have to take the medication once or twice a month to prevent the fungal infection from returning.

When you use topicals (such as shampoo or creams) the treatment takes more time. You must have it severely it the dermatologist told you a year! In most cases, treatment is for a month at most.
