I have it quite bad on my cheeks and forehead. Because, I think I have been on the pill since I was 13. Does anyone else have it? How do you feel about it, and have you found any successful ways to treat it please?

He is 15. Lately he's been having severe behavior and mood changes, as well as memory problems. He has frequent headaches. Recently he's experienced vision problems and dizziness. Also he's been getting frequent and severe nosebleeds, and has passed out twice because of them. Please, anyone who has some knowledge in this type of thing -could these be signs of a brain tumor? And also, should i tell him my suspicions? i don't want to freak him out, but i want him to get it checked if it's serious..... Please, I really need some help with this. Thanks!

I understand that frequent vomiting would be bad due to esophogus erosion, but how is the use of laxitives bad? I have a male friend that has some kind of bowel problem and used to have to use the restroom every couple of hours or so. He is on medication now, but still defecates approximately 6 times daily, but he's completely healthy. So that being said, how is bulimia different besides that it is self-induced?

Hi there...thanks for reading. I'm 36 y.o. female diagnosed with fibromyalgia (constant muscle aches, fatigue, sleep problems) for 5 years. Lately I've noticed that sometimes when I eat, I start feeling even worse than usual. I have spells where I ACHE intensely, am so tired that I can hardly move, arms and legs feel like they have weights on them, and I feel as if I can't breathe. My throat doesn't close up, but my chest feels as if I just can't get enough air. My sinuses DO seem to tighten up, though. The prob. is that I can't find out if it's a certain food that does this. I'd like to see an allergist, but am a little afraid to as many doctors immediately assume a person with fibro is a complete nut or a hypochondriac and often blow them off. Fibro itself can also make other pain and symptoms seem worse. Any advice from your personal experience? BIG THANKS....winning response will receive a Nigerian Dwarf Goat wether. (Just kidding! No pun intended :)

Three weeks ago I asked questions about the reasons for one and what to expect. Some responses were helpful but I really didn't get all the answers I was looking for. Do you know the differences in what a Nuclear stress test are getting that make it more advantageous than an echocardiogram?

I was also told how bad the test was. In my opinion, the test itself really was not a big deal. There was slight discomfort in inserting the needle, but I felt nothing from the injection itself. It took about three and a quarter hour from start to finish, but before they can take the initial pictures you have time to grap a bite to eat.
The beginning of Apheresis is probablymore uncomfortable than this injection, but I would still encourage people do Apheresis to help others rather than shy away from a slight discomfort. The same with this test. IF a doctor has a good reason (I still am not sure what my doctor's was) don't panic..it is a relatively easy test.
