when my cousin was a small child she got TB from her mother..
The mother is no loner living..
my cousin's left kidney was removed when she was a small child...
Now she is an adult and does not have TB, however now her right kidney was beginning to give her problems that caused her to stay in the hospital for one week...Her Doctor said her kidney is weakening..that it is not pumping normally...
Does this mean she also has chronic Pylonephritis?(Kidney Diease)

I know that vomiting would result to Metabolic Alkalosis since its gastric content is out, but I have read in the pocket RN Notes that if the condition becomes SEVERE (vomiting,) it would result now to Metabolic Acidosis but there is no rationale provided.

the doctor says that my condition is post radiation myelitis. I am on morphine as well as 10 other highly dangerous drugs and he says that my prognosis is "guarded" I have had this for more than 10+ years and its seem to be getting worst. Should start gitting a plot or do I have some time. I am at the "27th year post radiation. The doc says this is aslo call Post Radiation Damage, or ATM... so now what, am I to start looking for a nice grasses hill under the big Oak Tree?

My problem is not so much insomnia, but the fact that no matter when I go to sleep, no matter how sleep deprived I am, no matter what sleeping pill I might take my body is the most alert about 11PM and wants to sleep at 4-6 AM and wake up in the afternoon around 2PM Its not that I need more than 8 or 9 hours of sleep. It's more like my body is hard-wired to those times. I've tried melatonin, I've tried ambien, I've tried rozerem. While the ambien works, its short term and addictive. Even with the ambien I still find myself wanting to sleep until about 2 PM if I don't have plans the next day. What is wrong with body? Is there something off with my circadian rhythms? Why doesn't my body feel tired at dark and awake when it's light out like everyone else?

I've asked this similiar question recently and need to make my self more clear. My husband is getting help for a cocaine addiction. But when he's used in the past it would go all night. He says he was in his office snorting lines all night. He wouldn't come home til 6am. I could have easily checked on him (office is very close to home) but never chose to. I either I didn't want to know or didn't give a .. My question is... is it possible that an addict could seclude themselves for hours doing this without contact to the real world? Yeah he was on line doing who knows what. And yes I'll most likely leave..real soon. But this is something I just need to know. He claims he's never cheated. The only reason I've believed this in the past is because he looks horrible after a binge i wonder who the hell would want to be with that. I'll give more info if it helps in answering my question. about 2 weeks ago i got a stye in my left eye which is quite unusual for me because ive never gotten any since maybe i was a child. anyways, i didnt think much of it, it went away after like a week. so then like 3 days ago another came up on my right eye this time. i keep putting hot rags to it to try and make it pop or whatever faster.
anyways what i was wondering is, do you think i should go to the doctor over it? i dont really know too much about styes since i never get any until now
