He is 15. Lately he's been having severe behavior and mood changes, as well as memory problems. He has frequent headaches. Recently he's experienced vision problems and dizziness. Also he's been getting frequent and severe nosebleeds, and has passed out twice because of them. Please, anyone who has some knowledge in this type of thing -could these be signs of a brain tumor? And also, should i tell him my suspicions? i don't want to freak him out, but i want him to get it checked if it's serious..... Please, I really need some help with this. Thanks!

Your friend could have a lot of different problems. Bottom line is, he MUST get into a doctor. His symptoms are quite serious.

Do his parents know about this? They must and it is their duty as parents to make sure he is getting the health care that he needs.

Talk to your friend, maybe even offer to go to the doc's with him. Whatever it takes to get him in right away.

But no, dont tell him what you think it might be.

This does sound like it could be neurological with the head aches, but I would not jump to the conclusion that it is a Tumor. Yes he should be checked out and blood work and MRI done. If I was in your shoes, I'd express my concerns about his health and maybe also speak to a parent about this too. Blood work can show a lot of different abnormalities, so encourage that first. Continue being the caring friend that you are and be supportive through this!
Best wishes

Do his parents know all this? If not, tell them! If they already know, he needs to see a docter pronto. If they know and haven't taken him to the doc, report it to the school nurse or his counselor. I don't care who you freak out, get him to a doctor!
If parents still don't cooperate, call children's services.

Don't tell him anything. At this point, there's nothing to tell. If what you say is true, his parents must already be aware of what has been going on. Let them handle it.
