I have it quite bad on my cheeks and forehead. Because, I think I have been on the pill since I was 13. Does anyone else have it? How do you feel about it, and have you found any successful ways to treat it please?

There are no over-the-counter treatments that have been successful. However, there are several medical ways to treat it so see a dermatologist to find out which method is best for you if you should choose to go that way:
hydroquinone cream
tretinoin
azelaic acid cream
chemical peels

Otherwise, you can use make-up made specifically for people with birthmarks. It is called dermablend and can be found in most drug stores and higher end stores.

Once you stop taking birth control, the coloring will slowly fade...unless you get pregnant...in which case, you will have the coloring until after delivery. Chloasma is related to hormones.
