If he feels like it and you do not think he is contagious, then sure. Have at it. If it's allergies, he is not contagious and the pool may acutley be goo for him.

assuming that your question is whether or not it is safe for your child to swim, it probably is. Check for an elevated temperature first. That is a sign of active infection, like a cold or the flu. In that case, swimming would likely spread any virus to other swimmers. The mere act of swimming, even in somwhat cool water will not worsen a cold or flu for your child. Water, like air, does carry germs. In a pool, many germs are killed, or oxidized by chlorine, but the chlorine cannot get all germs. As a general rule, if your child is ill enough to stay home from school, he or she should stay home from swimming. Otherwise, have fun and don't worry.

Hell no, unless you want to possibly worsen the condition of the child. Cough and runny nose, means sick. In order to get better you need rest and plenty of fluids. Does this child have a fever? If so they need motrin.

This question concerns me. Sounds like you are more interetsed in your own fun then the health and welfare of the child. When you have a child, thechild has to come first. It is no longer about you. Get your head in the game. Grow up.

Do you mean can the child go swimming? I say no...because the child will spread whatever germs they are carrying. If you mean can you go swimming...why of course! :)
