My sister has Melasma. She wears sunblock and even got some kind of cream from the doctor but neither of these things seem to have made a dent!! Any suggestions?

A few months back, In the morning she sat down , and from nowhere she fell to the ground and was shaking for a few seconds.......Recently on Friday she was in a pub standing up when she fainted for no reason.

Could something be wrong with her?

I'm trying to compare Clopidogrel to other drugs in the same class. Have I missed any of these drugs? Not certain...let me know if you have any information. What other drugs are in the same class as Plavix?

Does anyone else out there suffer similar symptoms as me I often feel dizzy, lightheaded, and like I am not firing on all cylinders and a sharp pain in my back, between my shoulder blades drives me mad, it feels like someone is pushing a stiletto blade into my back I have recently had every test imageinable, but I have nothing more than a hiatus hernia, but I sometimes feel so poorly I am convinced they have missed something.I would feel better if I knew someone else out there was experiencing similar symptoms

i am 15. and i got meningitis a month ago. i am over it but i think it ruined my hearing. i dont even relize people are talking to me.

what can a doctor do? should i see one? my family says i will go evenually. how inportant is this? i can hear most loud things. and i am DEATHLY afriad to have to wear hearing aids!!! i cant go to high school like that!!!! i dont want to go to the doctor to find out. i'm scared. will it get worse?

ok about 5 months ago i had a really bad yeast infection and i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend and then a few days after that he said his penis was itching really bad and that he had a rash on his penis...so he took penicilin and the itching stopped and the rash cleared up and i went to the doctor and they prescribed me some Diflucan and everything went away...so we have been having protected sex since then...but Friday we didn't use a condom and i'm afraid that i might get reinfected with the yeast infection...as of now i don't have a discharge and i don't have any icthing or anything and my boyfriend said his penis has not been itching...so i don't know what's going to happen

A friend of mine recently had sex w/ a guy whose past is somewhat questionable (i.e. how many girls has he been w/?, what kind of girls were they?,. etc) He's definitely someone I could see having a STD, although we don't know if he does or doesn't. He seems to get around., but I don’t know that for a hard fact.

Anyway, last night at the bar; my friend and I were both drinking beer. Somehow, at one point in the night, our bottles became switched and I realized I was drinking out of hers and she out of mine. I'm a little freaked out by this. I usually never share drinks or anything like that, but this was completely by accident.

I'm worried she may have contracted some sort of STD (from oral sex) from this guy, and I'm worried that I drank out of the same bottle as her.

I'm in a monogamous relationship and completely clean, I don't disease at all for my own health sake and I certainly don't want one in my relationship.

Is there a possiblitily I could have caught

ive always brushed my teeth and mouth washed but now my gums are bleeding and ive got white discharge in the gums to im in agony ive been taking codien phosphate and nurophen but its not taking the pain away ive not long been on antibiotics for a water infection could this have caused my mouth being the way it is and could anyone please tell me how to manage the pain better please

for the past 4 days ive been having some difficulty breathing i feel like i cant catch my breath at times or i take shallow breaths or very deep breaths very little tightness more of the feeling that i just cant catch my breath..no wheezing involved..ive been checking my peak flow and its between 450-500 which when i was in the er and got 450 dr said it was normal thats hasnt changed its been consitantly 450-500 before this started i had either a severe allergy attack or a cold i had stuffy nose runny nose sneezing headache ear pressure then after all that stoped thats when this started now i have the breathing problems headache with a lightheadness and ear pressure at times for 2 nights i tried my rescue inhaler and that didnt seem to make a difference and i just tried it again when i got woke up and didnt make a huge difference i dont feel it all the time but its here a good majority of the day after i took the inhaler i checked my peak flow it was still the same value.

I recently had a sex change, and I am currently going through my period. All the parts that were made during surgery have healed; it’s just that girl thing that’s the problem. Now, I talked to my doctor, and he said that it will take a couple of months for the hormones to fully work, now my problem (or question) is: how do I tell my boyfriend err I mean “girlfriend” that we can’t have sex, because I am on my cycle… By the way, I can only use pads, because I am male now, and of course tampons won’t work… We have been waited for this almost fifteen months, and she is going to be devastated. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but it’s our anniversary and I promised her we could make love... Any suggestion on how to let her down easy???

My Mom says I may have to get the HPV shot. I hate vaccinations and last time I jerked my arm away. I had a tetanus shot and my arm was sore. My Mom said that they can give me the HPV shot in my rear end instead. Is that practical?
Can they really do that?
I dont want a shot in the rear.
Does it hurt bad?
Will it hurt less in my hiney than in my arm?
Does the vaccine make you feel sick afterwards?
Anyone know what is in the medicine?
Is it a large amount of medicine?
I am just really scared of vaccinations and hate needles.

My mother was recently diagnosed with stage 3B lung cancer. They immediatly started 5 days of radiation (for a total of 8 weeks) and 6 days for her first round of chemo. Her oncologist did not give her a prognosis, but my mom didn't ask either. Is that bad news, or did the doctor not say b/c my mother didn't ask?
