Yes - for some it's like a wonder drug!! Try a local farm shop rather than a supermarket.

Well it will be easy if your live in the countryside - just go for a drive in your area, local honey is advertised for sale - look out for small boards in gardens or at the top of drives.
If you live in a town/city you will have to look in yellow pages/Thompson's local or similar.
Ask around, someone is bound to know.
Yes, it does work but only with LOCAL honey

The best place to go to get honey that's 100% guaranteed to be local is your local beekeeper - Obvious really innit? ;o)
The stuff in farm shops tends to come from the same suppliers so won't be local.
The theory is local honey is made from local pollen, so by eating small amounts regularly you are acclimatising your body to the effects. Sounds like bunkum to me but the honey's good :o)

Look in your local grocery stores - and read the labels. See which ones are produced closest to your hometown. If not available at your local grocer - many "gift boutique" stores and agriculture supply stores sell local honey on consignment.
Check your local Yellow Pages for Honey Bee Wranglers or Bee Farms in your area. The Bee Wranglers may be named something slightly different in your area (I'm in Texas) but local exterminators may be able to direct you. A bee wrangler may be able to guide you to a local bee farmer and their sales of local honey.
Good luck, hon... and YES! It does help reduce allergies!
Peace.

manuka honey is supposed to be the best. Honey has marvellous healing properties - I use it instead of sugar - in my tea and coffee and on cereal. I am not sure about hayfever as I don't suffer but It wouldn't surpise me if it worked for that too. You can buy it in supermarkets or probably better is your local health food shop - they will definitely have it.

I suspect that local honey is sold locally.
I'd ask your neighborhood grocer, doctor, or anyone near you that drives a Volvo.

Go to a country store and it is usually on the counter where someone grew it in your area. Buy it, it cost about 3-4 dollars a quart.
It seems to work well
Also saline your nose every day.
