I'm trying to compare Clopidogrel to other drugs in the same class. Have I missed any of these drugs? Not certain...let me know if you have any information. What other drugs are in the same class as Plavix?

there is not drug to compare with plavix, there are similar drugs not the same though, there is persantine, aggrenox those are about the closest. why are you on plavix? if its for a new stent plavix is the only medication to use. if it is for cva or something along those lines it can be sub-ed with something else.

I think there are other drugs but do not come in a pill form. It is platlett 2,3, b inhibitor. That means on the inside of your body when you have injury only one layer of platletts form. Thus preventing multple clumping that could occlude a vessel. Heprin and lovenox are anticoagulants but do not work in a similar fasion they are not that specific to let the first layer of platletts form.

I know I did not answer your question but I hope I have given you useful info for what ever you are seeking the information for.

I am sure there are other 2,3,B inhibitors... agrastat is one of the brand names of one but I think it is only in interveinious form.
