Unfortunately, you are just unlucky. I began like you, only allergic to a couple of things. In my 20s, I began to suffer food allergies too - for me it is birch pollen, which means many fruits and nuts are out for me now.

I honestly don't know why it happens. Get yourself tested properly to find out for sure. I don't think there is a cure, other than desensitisation jabs.

As for normal? Well, it's hardly normal to be allergic to stuff, but it's not that uncommon. If only we knew why our bodies decide to react this way..!

in the twenties is usually when the immune system peaks The same thing occured with me I am also in my 20's.Having allergies is an abnormal state of the immune system, however once you are prone to developing allergies its common for you to develop more in the future. You are probably allergic to foods that are related to latex allergy.Latex allergy also is related to certain foods. Foods such as avocados, bananas, chestnuts, kiwis and passion fruits contain some of the same allergens found in latex. If you're allergic to latex, you have a greater chance of also being allergic to these foods.

An food allergy rotation/elimination diet can help you a great deal in managing your food allergies and preventing new ones from developing.

A lot of people have an allergy of some kind, and latex is a very common one. Allergies can develop at any time in your life. My suggestion to you is to see your doctor and have an allergy test done. They will test common allergens on your body to determine which give you a reaction.

Well... allergic reaction is an ABNORMAL reaction to materials. But, it IS NORMAL for someone to have such reaction to few things.

What you are allergic to may chagne as you grow older. If you seem to be developing reactions to many things, you may want have yourself tested. It may not be allergy but could be the effect of something else.
