I had a colonoscopy yesterday, my stools are bloody. And some blood is coming out. Is this normal? I am a young female, and they took multiple biopsys.

I will be starting Remicade infusion this week and am a little scared since reading of all the side effects and how dangerous this drug is. Can anyone tell me their experiences with Remicade. I have psoriatic arthritis which is almost the same as (RA). I'm 67 yrs old and am in good health otherwise.

I am the daughter.. and am very worried.. My dad will find out next week if its cancerous..either way will have surgery.. The doctor who would perform the surgery has a bad rating on that medical site = ratemds.com.. I don't know what to do, should I ask my dads doctor for a second opinion.?. as not crazy about having this other doctor who got the really bad reviews.. taking care of my dad. i am beside myself, and very upset.. what should I do?

Ive had a cold for 3 days and now my ears won't unpop! I tried pugging my nose and blowing. I also tried deconjestents. None of them worked. I have a class to go to tomarrow and I cant hear much out of my right ear. Is there anything else I can do?

Damn, I had it under control for the longest time. This week it hit hard though. I have no clue what's going wrong. I am taking today off though. Just relaxing. Maybe it's stress I don't know. Just 2 weeks ago my skin was fairly clear. Now it's f'd... what just happened? Maybe it's my beginning use of Blue Light Therapy??? It says it will make it worse at first then make it get better... could this be why?

My friend and I were driving home and took a long route, to see the city lights, from the new mountain road. The long route was 10 minutes up the hill and back down.

My friend's thirteen year old son did not want to go. He was in a hurry to go home and play computer games. He argued, sassed, anddemanded we not go the long way. When he was told it wouldn't take long and he would be home in 15 minutes, the kid began screaming and crying like he was in severe pain. He was wailed so loudly...for 7 minutes and would not stop. He was sitting behind me. I hope I didn't get ear damage...my ears hurt today.

(Isn't it strange for a kid who is almost 14 to have a screaming, crying temper tantrum when he doesn't get his way?)

Im on antidepressants so I cant take certain OTC meds, like suda fed and stuff.

i have been told by my drs that i have diabetes and i am seeing the doctor on monday and will then know what medication i am going to receive,my blood test from the dr was 8.7 after fasting for 12 hours have done this twice will get result of second one on monday is this bad? i have bought a blood test monitor and was advised to test my blood after eating which i did and i ate 2 cream crackers and a cup of lemon tea no sugar and 4 hours later it was still 14.8 and i have been feeling quite ill today .can anyone tell me anything about diabetes as i don't no what to expect treatment wise or anything else i have also have a very nasty abcess for 17 weeks now and antibiotics dont work will this go when the diabetes is treated.sorry to go on but my biological father died of this 2 years ago i only found out last week because i was'nt in contact with him so i'm feeling a bit scared

Hi,
Dont know where to start! I will keep it short! 2 weeks ago my mum had a scan, Up until a few days ago we did not know to what extent all of this was..
She has many many tumors in her liver! It has come from somewhere But she is severly jaundice and being sick and weight loss and confusion..
They are tyring to sort out her liver ducts as to relieve this itching and vomiting.
They have told us there is no cure for her as she is in the advanced stages of the tumors..
How long do u think she has left cause no one will answer this?

My brother has been working under a lot of PRESSURE this whole week. This weekend he's told me he thinks he might have lost some short-period-memory-related facts. This has happened for the first time

He is wondering whether this might only be linked to what he had been going through -the whole week- at worlk.

Also, he has told me that his concentration -because of the PRESSURE he was facing at work- has not been as strong as it used to be in the prior weeks.

What could have happened to him??? I am worried.

I found out i had mono last week, and that i wasn't supposed to play contact sports. i'm on a very competitive national volleyball team and i already missed a big tournament. in 2 weeks theres another big tournament that i'd really like to play in, but my doctor said i'm not supposed to play for 8 weeks (ridiculous?). do you think that 3-4 weeks is not a long enough wait to play, considering the effects it may have on my liver and spleen and overall fatigue.
