I went to the doctors today and my bp was 163/90. After looking back at my bp for the past few years my doctor noticed it had gotten progressively higher over the years. I am a healthy, 19 year old. My weight is 120 and I am 5'5". I am vegetarian, eat healthy, exercise moderately. The only other strange thing is that ketones were also found in my urine for no apparent reason (I am eating plenty). blood work was done but results wont be in for a week. How dangerously high is my bp? What happens if you have really high bp? I have an appt for a cardiologist in a month. (couldnt get in before then). Any input would be very helpful thanks!

i have chronic headaches. my back hurts a lot. my lymph nodes have been painfully swollen for around 4 months. i do have allergies, but have never had these symptoms in the past. also, i take allergy medication. i am under stress from school, but i really don't know what this could be... i just don't feel right.

I just went to the doctors because I was losing weight even though I have been eating plenty (after I realized I was losing weight I ate even more than normal). There was ketones in my urine, and while I think I know what they are I do not know what reason that would happen if I am not starving myself. If anyone knows what could possibly be wrong, it would be very helpful. My lab work wont be back until next week and I am going crazy trying to figure out what could be wrong. hello i have little small bumps on my nose their not whiteheads or blackheads their the same color of my skin but they wont go away i tried eveything clearasil and i cant pop them because it will hurt to bad and its not white at the top like it suspposed to be when it pops i think think they could be heat bumps but they but i do i get rid of them they dont even get smaller or bigger they always stay the same size can anyone tell me how did i get them and how do i get rid of them PLEASE!!!1

I was just curious to find out if most or all of cancer victims have had an appendectomy and if the lack of an appendix might be an exacerbating pre-condition that might increase the risk of cancer.

Okay, the other day my throat started hurting, and its not really really bad it just sort of feels irritated. Then just last night I started to become really congested; I've been blowing my nose all day. I haven't been sneezing very much, either (this might sound sort of gross, but I think the mucous is going down my thoat and irritating it). I don't believe I have a fever and I don't have "chills" so to say. And my ears are plugged I think. No headaches or anything else.

I do have a history of allergies, but I haven't had a serious sinus problem since like Christmas. Does it sound more like a sinus problem or a cold to you?
