I have this calloused area on my right big toe that's probably been there close to 6 months. At first I thought it was a wart, so I applied a wart remedy. However, when the medicine would get to the bottom of it, the "wart" would bleed & sting and I couldn't go any further. I'd let it go, and the stupid thing would grow back again.
The other day I was getting a pedicure & the nail tech said she'd work on my "big callous." She shaved it with one of those little razor-like thingees, and then buffed it, and it's much better, but I've had that done before and within weeks the stupid thing is huge again.
Do I have a wart or a callous? What can I do to get rid of it for good??

I'm mad but I'm not mad at the person who gave it to me. I had strong feelings for them..but I'm mad that they didn't warn me beforehand. I'm not sure if I can talk to them or not anymore. Part of me still wants to but part of me is saying HE GAVE YOU AN STD KICK HIM TO THE CURB. what do you guys think? and have any of you had similiar experiences?

i recently was in the hospital for pneumonia and was told i could possibly have lung cancer. i have 2 chest xrays, a chest cat scan, a breathing test, a scope test down my nose into the lungs (which the doctor said everything looked good but he could see a spot and if it is cancer he could take off the bottom part of my lung and get it all) which led to a pet scan of the entire body. It came back negative, but now he still wants a biopsy, thi does not make sense to me. he is now upset because i want a second opinion. any help would be appreciated. also i have yet to see any of my exrays or test results.

i get comments from friends about the whites of my eyes being a yellowish hue...i understand this could be jaundice, but my skin isn't yellowing and the mucous membranes in my mouth aren't either...i also don't suffer from much fatigue or a loss of appetite...could it still be jaundice? or something else? i'm an otherwise healthy, 20 year old male! i'm worried!

i was told by my doctor that i have herpes. she told me that i may get it from public toilet. From the net i found out that it's actually a std and one get it from sex. How can i get it if i didnt have sex with anyone else but my husband?? Now my husband is suspecting me that i have affair. how can i prove him wrong? I have herpes and it's from sex. he has sexual partners before he met me which is more than 6 yrs ago. Could he be a carrier eventhough he show no symtom for these 6 yrs?

Is anyone here using the Atkins diet to treat their diabetes?

I've lost weight with this before, it's a decient diet and got rid of a lot of my problems, but I went off of it. I am now prediabetic and thinking about going back to it, but not sure. My dr. said she wanted me on a diabetic lowcarb diet, but she didn't give me anymore information than that. She also aggreed and supported me when I was on Atkins.

I've thought about other diets as well. I'll probably call her the next time she's in her office and ask, but was checking to see if anyone else has done well with Atkins for controling diabetes?

I need to loose weight, dr.'s orders.

My mum got the results of her biopsy and blood tests yesterday. She does not have cancer but a condition called Sarcoidosis. I do not know much about this condition yet but i do know it can be treated. We are so relieved that the diagnosis is not what we feared and we are very gratefull to you all. Thankyou x

The Cancer is in his bowel and altho there is an operation that he can undertake, he will not be having the operation as it is too risky for him, the problem is my nanna is having a hard time dealing with it and although i am there for her and have told her so (i have been to the hospital every day) i was just wondering if anybody knows of anything else i can do to make her feel better or to maybe put her mind at rest a little bit. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
