My bestfriend just told me that she got herpes from a guy who gave her oral sex. They never had intercourse. She also said that he didn't have a cold sore. Does she have HS1 or 2?

My friend's (very abusive) boyfriend doesn'y smoke, yet he claims that he got lung cancer from second hand smoke and that he only has a few months to live.

I think there's just about a 99.99% chance that he is just saying this so my friend won't leave him, what do you think?

I mean, come on, he's 16, doesn't smoke, has lung cancer, and has only MONTHS to live? Doesn't sound very likely to me.

When I was in the second grade, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy. I had grown out of it by the age of 16 and got off medication by choice and then had a terrible accident, hit my head and it returned. The seziures are only petit mall seziuers, (I know I am not spelling that right) and they only show up under intense stressful situations, ie. not eating for a week and not sleeping either, and then trying to go to sleep for only a couple hours. Then and ONLY then do I get them. Well, AND if I am taking medication. Anyway, a few years ago I noticed them coming on all of the sudden and it bothered me. I stopped driving, I made the dr. scheduale an EEG and MRI and of course because I was on medication at the time, which I found out caused the S, the neuro, called the DMV, who suspended my license, and I have been fighting to get it back ever since, All because I was honest and played it safe and am now fine physically. But is this fair 4 me to have to go thru all this for 3 years?

She has had an angiogram and has a blocked heart valve as well as leaking arteries. She has to make the decision whether to have open heart surgery. She goes through spells of finding it very hard to breathe and then can't do anything.
Should she have this very serious operation?

I work in a school and understand that I will be susceptible to germs which will cause these symptoms, but I have not been working for a month and am still feeling ill off and on. Doctor says " sounds like you have a virus." I can't possibly have a virus that often.

I would like help from people with experience, as in what worked for them. A few weeks ago I picked at my face. To make a long story short a blackhead left a hole (like a big open pore), now although its closed up I am left with a flat scar. Sort of looks like a small pock mark. What can I use non-perscription that will get rid of this scar.
Thanks!

I have a sharp pain in my abdomen and have had it for about three days now. I'm not sure if it's just a bad stomachache or an ulcer.

I had a guy preform unprotected oral sex on me. He found out he has a form of HPV, I know I need to get tested but how realistic is it I was infected? (We did not do anything else, I did not give him oral and I have heard it's harder to get the virus with oral sex - but still possible).
Does "Oral Sex" in this case mean you're more likely to get it if you're performing it on an infected person's genitals you're more likely to get it as the giver?
