I work in a school and understand that I will be susceptible to germs which will cause these symptoms, but I have not been working for a month and am still feeling ill off and on. Doctor says " sounds like you have a virus." I can't possibly have a virus that often.

Has this happened before your monthy. If so this can be a form of PMS. If this continues I would go see another doctor.

Ever watch Mystery Diagnosis on Discovery Health Channel? Sometimes symptoms like this indicate something serious and generally unknown to doctors. If your hair falls out, it might be arsenic poisoning. If you develop new, seemingly unrelated symptoms it might be cancer.

Keep going back to the doctor and keep all your medical records! If the doctor STILL can't find a diagnosis, get a second opinion, but bring ALL the records of your visits to your old doc and a written record of symptoms and how often they occur.

Maybe you suffer from sinusitus. It's like a sinus infection that never really goes away, that is caused by allergies to airborn things.
I suffer from this, and the effects are nothing short of devastating. Pure exaustion, a "stoned" or out of it feeling, nausea, dizziness, just about anything you can imagine.
Do you also have headaches? A feeling of pressure in your sinuses? A feeling that your nose is "clogged", but unlike when you have a cold, there's no snot or anything? Then that's what you got, baby, there are cups in the kitchen -- join the party!

Maybe Legionaires Disease or mold in the air/heating ductwork. Have you been exposed to pesticides? Does the school have a pest control company routinely spray the school momthly? Have your blood checked for unusual items. Hope this helps.

It sounds like something a bit more serious than 'a virus' to me. Get another doctor. And check for cancer, diabetes, or- a number of other things.
