I have a sharp pain in my abdomen and have had it for about three days now. I'm not sure if it's just a bad stomachache or an ulcer.

A lot of acid reflux. Constant heartburn. Stay away from coffee!!

To be honest I doubt that you have to think of an ulcer at first..
There's many issues that can cause this..
Have you took a good "doodle" lately? If not, try taking some laxative..
If you did, do you fart a lot? Also gas can give you pains..
Also try to see if certain foods have been changed that you ate lately..
I am of cos not a doctor, but I have an ulcer myself and I can tell you then if you have a pain attack from that, you won't be able to stand up straight, lay down to comfort the pain at all..
To make things short, I would not worry about an ulcer just after a few day yet..

if this pain is related to eating, it may be an ulcer. if the pain increases after food, this an indicator of duodenal ulcer, and if it is 3 hours after food this means it is gastric ulcer. and if u often take coffe, tea. nescafe, or analgesics, thismay be an ulcer.

It felt like I had drank something caustic, like bleach. It hurt!
