Stools can vary alot in color, most of the time it is because you eat things that have high food coloring content in them

yellow is in normal range. It it loses the yellow/brown color and goes to a clay or beige color, symptomatic of hepatitis, see a doctor in that case.

possibly, when my liver flares up, my bowels turn more yellow. I have NASH, which is a liver disease. I would contact the doc about that for sure. It is related to bile which is excreted from the liver to the gallbladder and into the intestinal tract.
