I suffer from migraines, and don't have diabetes, and I know several diabetics (runs in my stepmom's family as well as my mother's) and NONE of them suffer from migraines. So I don't think they are linked (I did a LOT of research on migraines when I started getting them and read nothing about diabetic people having migraines or vice versa).

Migranes are more frequent among people with other compromises to their systems, like ADD, arthritis, and diabetes. Is he taking any nutritional supplements? One that includes grape seed extract should help feed his brain and lessen the occurance. A rapid change in blood sugar levels can sometimes trigger a migrane, I know this is true in hypoglycemics, so it probably holds true for diabetics as well. Investigate OPC-3, it chould help the migranes, and the blood sugar levels.
