I was looking at a package of microwave pork rinds...one bag has 3.5 servings at 60 calories and 9 grams of protein and only 2 grams of fat.. isn't that good for a diet?
how do they taste?

about getting better regulation of supplement products sold to us [the consumers]?

For better clarification you may revert to this article: http://health.myfoxny.com/news.aspx?id=2176

My personal opinion is a strong one: The supplements that are being sold do not have the scrutinization, testing and standards that they should require BY LAW. There has been a 800% increase in supplements sales within the past ten years alone. The majority of these supplements are "performance enhancing" and are being bought by our youthful generation. How do we know that they are safe? How do we know what they really contain? How do we know their short/long term effects both physically and mentally?

How catastrophic could this problem be? What harm has it already done to our youth and society?

I think we have yet to scratch the surface and the results will be devastating.

Ok, lets me totally honest here...I am very overweight and have just come out of hospital following a major op. I had a cyst removed that weighed over half a stone so technically I have lost that amout in weight...agreed?
Since being home (a month) I have stopped eating all the rubbish food like pizza and curries and have been eating more sensible foods and smaller portions. I cannot do too much pysically, my recovery time is expected to be 3 months ( I had a hysterectomy as well) but I am managing to walk about 10 minutes a day. But I do not seem to have lost any weight, my clothes do not seem any looser and no one has commented about any weight loss. I feel better in myself for eating more healthily but am I actually loosing any weight? I do not own a set of scales and I do not want any either, not until I have lost a cunsiderable amount of weight. Help!!
