Kelly, you sound like a sweet girl who worries too much about what other people think. That is a good weight 125lbs, don't loose too much , and no, do not make yourself sick just to please someone else. Just eat smaller amounts, and more often. Walk when you can, and enjoy being teenager. Life is to short . Keep your chin up, and just be yourself.

I have been struggling to recover from bulimia for 17 years. Do NOT go down this road. You only end up hating yourself more and battling for your life. Here's what you do: you get yourself a counselor to talk about your self-esteem issues. Actually, you are not overweight. If you want to lose a reasonable amount of weight then see a nutritionist so they can teach you how to eat. If you feel uncomfortable with that then you make friends with food and treat it as nutrition for your body. Eat simply. Cut out sugary cereals, chips, junk food, any sugary foods. Eat whole grains, a lot of fruits and veggies and lean proteins like chicken, fish, tofu. Take good care of your body and it will take care of you. Exercise. Start out simple. Walk for a half hour to an hour a day. Buy a few exercise videos and try them. The stronger you feel and the healthier you feel the better you'll feel all the way around. Also, yoga works miracles. Take care of yourself.

I'm 31 with a 15 year old daughter who weighs 158 lbs, and is struggling with society about her weight. She is a beautiful girl, just as I'm without a doubt that you are as well. I know it's hard, but making yourself sick & trying to lose weight too fast will not only hurt your body, but make it look worse than you think it does already. Your weight is perfectly normal, but if you want to lose weight, then join a hip-hop class and/or walk for 30 minutes after eating. I know it's hard to give up the foods you love, so just make smaller or less portions of the junk food. Just make sure you stay active enough to balance it out. If you want to chat, I'm here.

First of all, who is saying you're fat and will you really miss them when you're 25 and you don't see them? Do your clothes fit you? Are you healthy? Do you exercise at all?
Secondly, stop trying to get sick. Do you know what girls look like when they are successful at getting sick? They look sick.
Do yourself a favor and go eat a salad. Go go for a walk. Join the track team. Love that body you've got and take care of it. You really won't want to be in it if does get sick. It's the only one you've got, and you're only 15...you've got a long way to go yet.
Keep yourself strong and try not to listen so much what other people say about you.

Actually, at your height and weight, you sound rather gorgeous. The only thing it sounds like you need to work on is your own self-esteem.
Nonetheless, Weight loss is really quite simple; there are only two things you need do to reach your goals:
1. Restrict daily calories to 1600 calories per day. By increasing the amount of fruits and vegetables you eat, you will be able to keep your intake at this level without feeling hungry or uncomfortable.
2. Exercise for one hour a day, every single day. It can be anything from pilates to just plain walking, but do it. One hour. Every day.
This is a pretty simple recipe for weight loss, but it works. It has worked for me; I have lost 78 pounds this way. I even lost weight over Thanksgiving. It will work for you if you commit to it and stick to it.

You need to stop this NOW! When people call you names is because they have nothing better to do with there time. You shouldn't be having these thoughts about killing yourself i had these thoughts a few years back and trust me it is NOT worth it. Go and see you GP and see if they can advise you. I'm 17 and I'm 11 stone but i wouldn't say I'm fat and your prob not either. Feel free to email me to talk cause it worries me when people say these things as i no first hand how these thoughts feel.

okay your not fat. yes your short and maybe about 10 pounds overweight but your not fat. dont feel sorry for yourself and by doing the sticking the finger done the throat method. you ll feel more sick and more fat. go on a healthy diet and exercise if your serious about this instead of moping around on the computer telling people you think your fat. do something about it!!
