I hate exercise and i love food.....anyone got some good tips for loosing weight. I really want to give it a bash but if its too hard I will give up before i see any results. Please help!

my girlfriend (soon to be fiance') seems to be putting on excess weight lately. Even though I'm actually a bit underweight, I'd be willing to exercise with her, eat healthy, etc. But is there really a safe way to ask her to lose weight without being offensive to her?

It seems to me if you had no calories/food to burn up, you would move strait to the fat.
