My orthodontist said I shouldn't drink sodas, but since Sprite is clear...I figure it won't really stain like others. Is it safe?

If not, which drinks can I have? Please don't just say juice, reccomend a brand.

I had a cracked tooth rebuilt 2 mo ago. Since then I've had repeated systemic infections treated (internist) 2x with z-pac, 1x Amoxicillin. 100 degree temp. This time my jaw hurt so much and up the side of my head, down my neck, fever, and so weak and dizzy went to ER. Dr there not interested really but did prescribe Clindomycin. Have appt on Tues with dentist-who knows I'm on clindomycin and have abcess. (haven't filled him in on full course of illness yet). One of my concerns is that I have little to no immunity to infections & no adrenals (addison's) The dentist knows I have a complicated medical history. I really want to start feeling better but I want to make best choices for future satisfaction. What do I ask about, should I follow up immediately with internist also to make sure general health no further impacted. I started the latest antibiotics yesterday. Today incredibly weak and still painful up and down head and neck. Should I give it more time? Hate missing so much work.

I've been drinking a crystal light type drink alot and now it seems that my teeth have no enamal on them (I've stopped drinking it---only water now)...also made lines in my teeth...and in certain parts are partially stained brown (it's sooo disgusting:()...(I really examined my teeth yesterday and was shocked to see how gross they really got...I do brush twice a day)....I'm just curious if anyone knows what a dentist could do to help me...besides a regual exam...would it be just whitening....or what about the enamal? I'm just afraid because of what it did...it will cost me hunderds or thousands of dollars to fix...anybody know any info about this? Thanks a lot (I'm just freaking out a bit:)

I'm a dental hygiene student and need patients! The fees are very reasonable and much cheaper than a dental office.

i'm 27 and my last baby tooth (bottom jaw incisor) finally came off 3 days ago after being loosened up more and more as the years went by. i think i might have a permanent tooth growing b/c i see a whitish mark on the gum underneath the space. i know i need an x-ray (and i'll get to that) but do you think this is a sign of a permanent tooth growing? any other signs that i may encounter would be appreciated. thank you!

ok i had fillings on my top molar tooth and my bottom molar tooth on my left side.
the filling got out like a few months ago from eating hard foods but the dentist was like the fillings not supposed to pop out or something. so he re filled it and now i can feel the molars and i feel a crack a or a line on the side of the tooth. like i run my nail across and intead of a smooth tooth my nail runs into a ridge or something. does that mean its cracked? if it is what should i do to avoid the tooth from getting worse?

Monday I am having 2 wisdom teeth extracted. Both haven't erupted yet but the dentist said they are starting to push against the other teeth as they don't have enough space to come out. Can any of you who went through this, tell me how long does the procedure last? Is it painful after the surgery? Is the bleeding that bad? How long does it take to heal? I am going to need to extract the other 2 as well in a few weeks :(
Thank you!

It seems that when I eat saltier foods they swell up the night of or the day after. However, an assistant from the ortho said salt is good for cleansing the gums?

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Help please- I am a 43 year old executive and have natrually pretty features, but the long hours, stress, travel and push to the SVP level have taken their toll on my face. I see the neck a little saggy and the face looking a bit tired looking including my eye lids which look like they are tired. Help I don't want to look pulled, or freaky, but I need a bit of work that will leave me looking refreshed and youthful so I can complete my career path for at least the next 10 years, and looking pretty and young are a competitive advantage.
Help!
