First tooth? Give what you can afford.. Don't ask my wife.. I have to take out a second mortgage just to cover the things she gives our sons.. lol.. 5-10 is good.. I think when I was a kid.. I got a quarter. but with inflation.. 5 dollars sounds good.. lol

Kids leave teeth under their pillow for the fairy. If she already knows you're the one supplying the cash, she's too old to get anything. If she's little, a dollar in change is fine.

The Tooth Fairy usually gives my kids a new toothbrush & maybe some stickers or coloring books or something.

i got 5 dollars a tooth and i think that is a good price.
for my last baby tooth (which i had to get pulled) i got 20 dollars because it was my last and i had to suffer for it.lol

when i was a young girl my mother used to put a book under my pillow after i lost a tooth - i LOVED finding the books under my pillow in the morning!!!
