He has beautifulul, healthy white teeth that he/we brush every day.

How many crowns do you have? How are your teeth and gums overall? How old are you?

I have only 1 crown, but my gums aren't that great. I'm 37.

My lowers are still open after 7 days of post op care. I have dull pain and swelling in different areas around my lower jaw. My concern about the large holes in my mouth is I'm constantly getting food particles in these holes. I then have to flush them out with a syringe. Can some one tell me when these large holes are suppose to close up or was my oral surgeon suppose to stitch them up.

When I look about town at all the old folks I always think to myself that I hope I don't end up with teeth that don't look like my own. But, apparently I'm wrong. Afterall, almost every American celeb you see on the tv these days seems to have that strange 'not my teeth' look about them. What do you think?

Hell, what does it matter if you look like your Nan as long as they're all too white and perfectly straight!

In June of this year I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted. I healed fine and did not have any problems. Since then, I've felt a little pain on the right sides of my mouth (where my teeth used to be). My left side has never hurt. It was never too much pain until recently. Now my sockets (if that is what you call them) hurt just as bad as when my wisdom teeth were there. I called my oral surgeon and I'm going to set up an appointment.

Is this kind of thing normal? Even after 5 months?

it took 3 visits over a few weeks to complete my root canal...and it still hurts. It's not abscess or nerve pain, it's different. They filled it on Wednesday, and it hasn't stopped throbbing. It's a dull throbbing, but a throbbing none-the-less. There is also a very strange kind of pain up near the apex, like there is a foreign object inside my gums. Almost like someone is sticking me with a needle. I can't smile or move my upper lip to far without this awful stabbing sensation. I'm *REALLY* sick of being in this kind of pain in the front of my mouth. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY MORE!!! I called the dentist yesterday (only 1 day after finishing the root canal) and he said it needs time to quiet down, because of all the trauma (years of hard clenching and grinding) it may take a while to heal. He said to wait until Monday or Tuesday, and if it still hurts to call back. Has anyone had any experience like this, what would be causing that stabbing needle-like pain??? Please help...

I have a horrible wisom tooth growing up under another tooth, which is causing excruciating pain as it is trying to push my other tooth out. I want to know has anyone ever pulled out any of their teeth themselves? I am completely broke and cannot afford a dentist, the tooth is loose a tiny bit already. Help! I'm in pain and can't sleep!

I have had a severe tooth ache for days now, I went to the dentist and they said that they thought my teeth were just being sensitve to pregnancy. But after a few days I could not take the pain . I went back in today, and they did a exray, but they double vested me. Do you think that is ok? I am only 7wks pregnant, so I worry cause the baby is still forming? And they gave me penicillian, they found that i had such a severe infection that it went into the bone. But should I be worried about the exrays, and being on penicillian?
