Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't stay in your system for 7 years. Also it does not digest easily and is usually removed along with the other toxic wastes your body gets rid of through fecal matter. However on the other hand, if you were to make a habit of swallowing chewing gum, it can lead to constipation or even bowel obstruction, neither of which are pleasant. For you though, since this is the only piece of gum you swallowed, relax...it will all come out in the end...no pun intended.

gum is not digestible. It will simply pass thru your system and exit with all your other waste.

it sticks to your stomach and when you swallow seeds--tomato, watermelon, etc., and they start to grow, and then the ears make more wax which is fertilizer for the seeds!!!
