You can, but drink through a straw if possible. Keeps from bathing the front teeth in the acids and sugars. Rinsing with water after is allows good.

Well, I'm just an eleven year old so you probably think "Oh! Pssh! What would an eleven year old know!" But, I'm in middle school and have had braces since the summer of 4th grade. Yes you can drink coke and yes you can chew gum but I recommend Bubbalicious and orbit and trident splash. Those are the best! I even eat popcorn and laffy taffy and the brackets are still intact but the thing is that don't chew too hard and don't chew too hard because your brackets could get pulled off or seomthing if you're not careful!
Just after eating anything too sweet, maybe a rinse of water to keep all of the sweets from attacking your teeth. Peace out!!

Yes, but I suggest using a straw whenever you do. If you just drink it straight out of the glass or can, the dark liquid will be more apt to stain your teeth and be noticable once your brackets are removed. Using a straw will help the cola surpass the front of your teeth, leaving less of the front of your teeth to stain. People who get their teeth whitened use this trick to reduce discoloration on their teeth.

I would try not to drink too many fizz/sweetened drinks while you have your braces. I would try not to drink too many of these anyway, but while you have the braces, it is difficult to give the teeth a thorough clean and you are increasing the risk of decay.

I wouldn't . too much sugar, you will have little white marks on your teeth if you don't keep up with the brushing and cleaning.
your Orthodontist should have given you a list of do's and don't's when you get your braces on .

Yes of course you can. I would say that you should drink it through a straw tho cause too much dark soda can stain your teeth.

Yes -- but it isn't good for your teeth. Coke has lots of sugar in it.

yeah...but be careful. if you drink too much without brushing your teeth well, it could discolor your teeth...then they'll be really gross when the braces come off.
