I need to have 3 crowns made for 2 molars and 1 bi molar. My insurance is covering 60% of each crown.

I had 3 root canals totally around $500 after 80% insurance coverage, done by a endodontist.

I gave my dentist $180 when I had the perm filling put in and will be giving him $540 when i am fitted for the crown. He had to insert a post into the molar. Is this about the correct costs after the 60% insurance coverage? This is only for 1 crown and Ill have 2 more to cover. I have yet to see any insurance claims on the insurance company website for the dentist but saw them for the endodotist.

I have a serious phobia about the dentist. I know I have a couple cavaties and need to go get them filled. I also really need to have my teeth cleaned. Do you think I could find anyone to put me under?? I know it sounds ridiculous, but it would just be so much easier.

As most of us know, now that toothpastes are getting so good that they are fighting cavities and having dentists losing money for not needing much filling for cavities appointments.

So chances are some are lying. How do you know if you really have them or not?

So I got braces about one month ago. My teeth has a gap in the two front teeth, and my canine teeth are up there like fangs. My dentist says he wants to get the gap fixed, then take care of the other two teeth. I have not overbite, crossbite, etc. I've heard a lot of people say when you frist get braces they hurt like hell. But so far, I've felt NO PAIN. Is this normal? My gap isn't that big, maybe the width of a quarter or a lil bigger. So how long does it take to close the gap off? I dont ind wearing braces, I just wnat this stupid gap to fix. I heard some people say 6-8 months, and some say one month, and I'm really confused. Can someone please give me links to useful sites? or give me a good answer.

I am 29 and have not been to a dentist since I was 13 years old. Since that experience I have taken care of my teeth and am very regimental when it comes to my teeth. I had a cavity filled in when I was 13 and the dentist had to numb my mouth, he gave me a shot on the side before drilling and filling but when he began to drill I would say I could feel 80% of it. I was screaming and crying and my dad(who was in the waiting room) later told me I was being silly. I said that day that I would never go to a dentist again. I have no cavitites that I can see, my teeth are not yellow, I have no bad breath, but I know that filling will not last forever. I do have one tooth that is slightly crooked that I would like straightened. any suggestions on how to conquer this fear. and if later on I want some work done can I insist on being put under, even if the work is not major?

I am a new denture wearer and my dentist suggested adhesive while my gums are healing and shrinking. I have tried a couple and they work pretty well. Was wondering if you use something that is fantastic and would be worth a try for me.
Thanks!

Hi I am a student in Dental school and I am doing a paper on the difficulties wheelchair users find when they visit the Dentist. I would love any feed back or ideas from you that you would think would improve your visit to the office. Thank you so much for any of your help.

Straight forward, I have very healthy teeth. No cavities or anything. But I did inherit my fathers not so great colored teeth. His arent bad, just not white. As for me, mine arent yellow or anything like that.. Just theres alot of room for improvement.

I brush 3 times a day using Crest active white. I also use Teeth whitner before I brush and Mouthwash afterwards... I also have braces so theres no option to really use whitestrips or anything for a quicker whiter smile.

I guess what im really asking is, Whats the best/ Safest way to get white teeth without having to use as many products as im currently using?
