Once in the morning and once in the night.

Too many times might be abrasive on your teeth and damage the enamel of your teeth. A relative of mine damaged her teeth due to vigourous brushing several times a day. Her teeth were more prone to cavities, etc. Hence, she eventually removed some teeth. I guess, it all depends on the way you brush. A heavy hand can ruin things, so be careful. After all, dentists actually recommend regular brushing, a couple of times a day. So it does boil down to the technique of the brushing.

Usually four times per day. I also usually floss three to four times per day and rinse with Listerine or Crest Pro Health about 10 times per day (Once in the morning and night and once before I seat each patient).

Once--in morning after breakfast--but I use good technique and brush extremely well. In my entire life I've only had one (surface) cavity. Dentist says it's hereditary. You?

At least twice a day, but more importantly, I rince out with listerine often...perhaps six times a day, or more.
