I am 19 years old and the last time i went to the dentist was like 10 years ago. I have really good teeth and i have never had any tooth problems, thats the reason i have not gone to the dentist. Should i squedule an appoitment or should i just wait until theres a problem?

Absolutely make an appointment. It's important to get them professionally cleaned at least once (preferably twice) a year. Everyone gets plaque on their teeth, which can harbor bacteria...and it can only be removed with professional cleaning. You don't want to end up with bad breath, gum disease, etc.....

schedule an appointment. You really should have your teeth cleaned twice a year with X-rays at one of those visits. Its mostly preventative, like getting the oil changed in your car every 3000 miles.. you dont wait till theres a problem to do that.. and you hope to have your teeth for the rest of your life, unlike your car. I have been with out insurance for 2 years no and not getting my teeth cleaned is driving me crazy!

I would suggest going ahead and scheduling an appointment. You have concerns (or curiosity) of your dental health- or else you wouldn't even be asking. I would suggest asking friends in your area about their dentist and find one that souds good. Don't go to one just because it's the dentist that your whole family uses. Even if you don't have problems- a good cleaning feels so good!!!

Yes, you should schedule that appointment, so you can get a checkup and teeth cleaning. It is always good to get a check up and cleaning every year or every six months even if you have good teeth. You have to take care of your body and your mouth is a big part of that.

you should go every 6 months even when there aren't problems to keep on the look out for prospective problems. a cleaning is needed regardless of problems. don't wait until you think you have problems, this is the last real set of teeth you will have.

It depends if you dental floss or not. Sometimes brushing your
teeth is not enough. If I were you, I would go for a check up, it
won't hurt. you are so disgusting. haven't you seen the
commercial where the guy calls up the dentist and says he hasn't
been seen for 5 years?i think you should still go to the dentist even though you have perfect teeth or not.

You should be going every 6 months! You must be one of those lucky people with good genes if you have no dental problems. Schedule an appointment anyway, you never know if something's up.

It's always good to get things checked out, just in case. It's a peace of mind kinda thing i guess, go ahead and get your teeth checked out and if all's good, you can wait another 10 years to get them checked again. =)

yes, you need to get regular cleanings and x rays, and a good check up to prevent problems, and to know ahead of time if a problem needs addressing.
