I am a new denture wearer and my dentist suggested adhesive while my gums are healing and shrinking. I have tried a couple and they work pretty well. Was wondering if you use something that is fantastic and would be worth a try for me.
Thanks!

Since your denture is new, the fit is probably pretty good. I suggest that you use a denture POWDER for that. It is sold in the same location as all the other adhesives. You wet the denture and then lightly apply the powder, just as if you are flouring a baking pan for a cake. This gives you just enough adhesion without changing the fit of the denture.

If you use a paste, like Super Poli-Grip or Fixodent, put just a dab on each side and then wet a Q-tip or your finger tip with water and spread it out into a very thin film before you put it in your mouth.

"FIXODENT... AND FORGET IT." YES THE STUFF REALLY WORKS! THIS WHAT I RECOMMEND FOR MY PATIENTS.
