I went twice to my dentist and he glued it back with no extra charge...last night my crown fell off again while I was eating....what a night mare!
I am thinking not to go back to the same dentist to place my crown back...because maybe he does not carry a quality tooth glue...
should I go to a different dentist? I saw some tooth glue in the pharmacy but I really hesitate to do it on my own. what should I do?

I recently got dentures and am still in process of getting them adjusted to fit perfectly, untill then i am using adhesive and I am having some problems. Seems when I drink a soda or coffee my uppers come loose. Soda seems to disolve the adesive and coffee seems to melt it. I have tried fixodent mint and the sea bond sheets. neither seems to work very well. any one out there got any suggestions

I never used to be scared at all of dentists or needles, but after having a wisdom tooth out in January I am really terrified of them.
My dentist says I really need a small filling - I would have liked to have sedation as I am so scared about having the needle for the local aneasthetic, but I am pregnant, so cannot and do not know what to do to calm me down so I can have the filling. My pregnancy sickness means I need to have this filling before it gets worse, but i just can't go and get it done.

I do not want any funny answers telling me to brush my teeth better, I have been in hospital a lot and was too unwell to brush my teeth for a while sadly, also the dentist has said that my teeth problems are more to do with bad health than bad hygiene.

Here's my problem. After braces, my orthodontist put on a permanent fixed retainer on my bottom teeth (the wire is on the inside). It's been 15 years after braces and I still have the retainer.

The retainer is a hassel because that's where the plaque gets trapped in and is also difficult to floss. Does either toothbrush make a difference? Am I better off having the retainer removed and take the change of having my lower teeth shift?

I heard that it makes you feel unaware, but somewhat concious. I've also heard that it makes you willing to let a stranger drill you. That sounds a lot like the date rape drug. My dentist seems like a dirty old man. I'm kind of worried.
