When I had a toothache a couple years ago, I took two extra strength tylenol to make the pain go away until I could get the tooth fixed. I've heard biting down on a clove releases something that helps numb it, too, or just buy clove oil at a natural foods store and put that on it.

But no way around it, you're going to have to get to a dentist. It won't go away on its own.

They don't have to gargle with it, but yes warm salt water will sooth and prevent infection. IIt also works great for a sore throat. In my family, after the tooth was pulled and the water was gargled, a big bowl of ice cream was in store for the losee!

Apparently a drop of clove oil or chewing ON a clove (a spice bud) will help. You can also get Oral Jel, which has novocaine in it, that will numb the pain. Go to a dentist soon as possible, before it gets infected too.

In all truth if you want to get rid of toothache you have to go to the dentist to get rid of the cause. Gargling or even just taking a painkiller, will only get rid of it temporarily.

(2) Put some whiskey in your mouth and allow to flood the area that is painful. Spit it out when done after about 20 minutes. Whiskey is a natural anesthetic
(3) See a dentist, you will have to see one sooner or later.

Yea yank that fu*ker out, just tie it to a string and have your buddy drive real fast and it should stop the toothache, however you may have to go to the hospital to get your face put back on, the tooth will be the least of your problems.

Get a little weird with your favorite alcohol, chew on a clove, and put an ice cube on the webbing in between your thumb and forefinger on your right hand. It works, believe it.
