Get them pulled...I suggest having them filled instead. I've gotten cavities filled without novacane before because the friekin' novacane shot hurts worse than getting the cavity filled!

A cavity is a hole in your enamel, the hard outermost layer of the tooth. A fully-formed adult tooth will not rebuild its enamel, so once a cavity forms, it needs a filling, as two things will happen: (1) the cavity will harbor bacteria and food particles because your toothbrush might not reach inside, and (2) the cavity will grow deeper as the bacteria secrete acids that dissolve the enamel. Once the cavity becomes deep enough that the bacteria reach the dentin, you will have a toothache. If the bacteria reach the pulp, you will develop an infection in the tooth which will require a root canal. If a root canal is not performed, you will lose the tooth, while suffering excruciating pain. If you fear the discomfort of getting a filling, it's nothing compared to what a root canal and crown feel like.

Not at the moment! Check this out though

"researchers at the University of Alberta in Canada... just want a few more years to perfect their low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) technology that they hope will ultimately be able to re-grow lost or severely damaged teeth from the root" see the link

There is no way yet to make your tooth grow back. There is a lot of research at the moment to try and grow teeth from stemcells.

The best idea is to prevent it in the first place with good regular cleaning.

Unfortunately once your tooth is damaged it doesn't repair itself, so the only way to fix the cavity is to either fill it or pull it out.

If you are worried about getting fillings then perhaps you should look into painless dentistry, it costs alot more but maybe it will be easier on you (ie laser dentistry or dentistry with nitrous oxide)

There is now to get rid of cavities except by going to you dentist. Once the cavity starts it will keep destroying the enamel on your tooth unless there is some sort of intervention (going to the dentist) is done. You can prevent cavities with flouride treatments, and good constant oral hygiene.

Hell, fillings don't hurt. Just get some nitrous first. You'll never feel a thing!

To answer your question - get them pulled. Not your first choice.
