I found pills in a drawer of my mom's and it's a pill called wellbutrin. I researched it online and it says it's an anti-depressant but it's also used for smoking cessation. My mom smokes. Is it more likely she's using it to treat depression or smoking cessation. I'm just wondering. If I ever asked her she would never tell me and be pissed I found them in the first place.

Ok, I had 3 surgeries on my tibia for an infected gash that went all the way to my bone. I was in the hospital for 7 days and just got out of the hospital on Friday. Now I have a fever. Is this ok? I am on antibiotics for my infection. The infection was staph.

I am a nursing student and we are doing a case study in my pharmacology class. One of the meds in the case study is "Continvetis Fosonopril" ... I can not find the two terms together anywhere!! (Not even in my drug book) I can't locate the word "continvetis" anywhere.

Please help if you know either term/med? or the two together!

So I want to be a dentist and I have always wanted to be one, but I am afraid if I become a dentist and open up my practice no one will come to mine since there are so many dentists. So is this a good profession or am i just worrying about nothing? Will people come to me or will I just be bored in my office all day?

i've been having some random bloody noses for the past few weeks. i live in colorado so the weather really changes a lot here so i think that may be why. and they're not really that bad either, only the first one had a lot of blood. and then i didnt get any for awhile, and then maybe like 2 weeks ago i got 2, and then none, and then recently on saturday, and today. i also run cross country and talked to my coach who said its most likely just cuz my nose is just dry and to use vasaline(sp?) so i think ill be fine,but if anyone has any other ideas that would help. thanks!

I want to get off of birth control pills for a year or so to let my body relax from the hormones and what not, and then go back on it again.

I want to know if that is safe or not. What side effects can I expect? I've talked to my doctor and two other medical people. My doctor said it's bad, and the other two medical folks said that it's perfectly fine.

Any (educational) information ya'll can give me would be much appreciated. The appointment is Tuesday, but I'll cancel it if I learn there's nothing bad about getting off and then getting on again.

Hi, I am getting the HMO health plan through my job, and most co-payments are only about 10 dollars, but it shows nothing on how much I pay if for example I need surgery, It does say however that the most I could be charged in one year is $1,500 dollars by the hospitals. Even x-rays have no co-payment though if I need it and vasectomys cost about 100 dollars. My co workee had surgery worth over $5,000, but her insurance paid it all, how do you know what they pay, and when you are asked to pay? I am going in for a ailing left wrist I messed up at work, but no break occured, will I be charged even with insurance(blue cross).

so when we were together and had intercourse, he had to go to the doctor for a bump on his pubic area...and while we were together he had said that it was because of me but then said just joking. well he called me just now and said that he lied to me, that it is because of me, because the last time we had intercourse it came back.

but the thing is, we had intercourse often..very often!...and he only got the bump twice....

now i go to the doctor very often. i get blood tests and urine tests, just for a regualr check up...so if i had something wouldnt they have found it already from the blood and urine tests????

She's bipolar and suffers from depression as well. She is currently avoiding all of her family and surrounds herself with a bunch of non working, loafing losers as friends. She works as a waitress and has incurred about 10K in medical bills because she did not have health insurance. I have been calling her to try to get together with her in order to guide her, but she has been avoiding all of us in her family like the plague. Do I let her crash and burn or what?????

I'm 16 and i have anxiety problems. I have many small anxiety/panic attacks, but i've only had 2 bad ones. I'll tell you about one and tell me if it was a true panic attack. The worst one i've ever had was when i was talking to my parents and my heart started racing so fast it was fluttering, i had trouble breathing and then i started hiperventilating, then my hands started tingling then my face, i was very lightheaded and dizzy and felt like i was goint to faint, I felt like i was going to die. Was that a true panic attack?

It's weird because sometimes I can smell a mild fishy odor at arousal, during sex and after sex ... especially a couple of days after my period is done. I have been to the doctor numerous times and they always say I am good to go with no infections. But I still smell something. I take a bath every single day, sometimes twice a day. If I douche the smell will usually go a way for a couple of weeks, but as I understand it it's not good to douche. It really bothers me and makes me feel uncomfortable. I have tried the Summers Eve Feminine Wash and it temporarily gets rid of the odor.

Also, I recently felt like I had another urinary tract infection and when I went to my doctor they said the cultures came back negative. The weird thing is the urine was strong and had an odor like a urinary tract infection. There was mild burning and frequent urination but the lab didn't find any cultures.

What could be causing these things?

I took the depo a few years ago and gained like 100 lbs. I have been struggling with losing weight since then. I excersise on a daily basis, eat healthy and I love to wrkout. But I cant lose the weight. I have tried fat burners and everything. And still I cant lose the weight. I heard that water pills will help lose the water in the body. That I gained on the depo. My breasts have been sore ever since. As time goes by they get worse and I'm not due for another period for about 2 more weeks. I checked an ovulation calculator and that shouldn't happen for another 4 days. My breasts usually get sore a day or 2 before my period but never this badly and this has been occurring since my last period. It was like they were so before my period, not during, and then again after. Any ideas?

My friend has been taking Prozac for about three weeks. She says she's so fatigued all the time and doesn't feel any better. Plus she's hoarse all the time since shes's used it. I only took it a couple weeks and didn't get that. Any advice would sure be helpful. Thanks folks!!!!!!

I dont really want to ask my parents or doctor... but i figured why not ask complete sstrangers lol

im in my teens.. just had open inguinal hernia surgery a week ago... my recovery time is supposed to be 3 to 4 weeks... they also sewed up some muscle tissue so that there is an even slimmer chance of return and stuff.... but when do you think it would be ok to you know masturbate lol...
im still in some pain but i can walk now... he just said not to do anything strenuous or lift anything heaver than ten pounds till i see him 2 weeks from now
