what should I do? I cant go to the gym, because I dont have a babysitter , my huband works over the road and he's rarely home, and I cant afford a treadmill any suggestions for inhome exercise and diets that help loosing weight?..thanx..

If women managed their weight, like many of them manage their bank accounts, they would all be thin. ;-)

Eating is what you earn.
Exercise is what you spend.

If you don't want to be rich. Earn less, Spend more.

Now while it's possible to eliminate all that excess wealth in your hips and thighs by earning less, nothing will get you to poverty faster than big spending!!!!

Walking is a great way to go. That Jared crap works. I have know more that one person that lost a bunch of weight by just walking 1 hour a day.

Now many gyms have day care, BUT why would you need a gym - YOU'VE GOT KIDS!!!!

Play with your kids! Kids love the park. Go for a walk, go for a hike, go play in the park. Play frisbee, toss a football or base ball. Get a yoga or Ti Che video. Get one of those giant exercize balls. Start watching an exercize program and get the kids involved.

Do not ever, ever, ever go on a diet. Complete waste of time.

If you want to be thin you must stop eating like fat people.

Have a salad instead of deep fried chicken. Snack on celery, apples and carrots instead of donuts, candy bars & ice blended coffee. The occasional hamburger won't kill ya but those chile cheese fries have got to go. Drink juice, tea or water NOT soda, milk or koolaid. You can cheat with pizza or ice cream, but do it once a week, not once a day. Processed foods are almost invariable high calorie. Get a steamer. A great rule of thumb is 70% of you diet should be water foods. I.e. fruit & veggies. 70% of what you drink should be water, juice or tea. JFTR Sunny D is NOT juice.

Morning exercise raises your metabolism. You will burn more calories all day. Eat light, eat often. Do not starve yourself because that sends your body in to conservation mode.

Eat big meals early, light meals later.

Thats it. Eat well & play with the kids and you are on your way to sexy mom. Watching the soaps with chips and cola and it's Opra, the early years.

I would honestly say, eat about 1500 calories a day and exercise often... but I know that's hard becasue you don't lose weight quickly.. I was in a fitness show and had to lose weight quickly (be warned you have to continue to exercise to maintain your weight) so here is a plan that works wonders, it isn't that yummy though. For breakfast have oatmeal and/or egg whites. for a breakfast snack have a banana and 6 almonds, for lunch have a chicken breast (or lunch meat) with steamed asparagus and 6 almonds. for snack have another fruit, then for dinner have chicken, asparagus and brown rice, then before bed eat a teaspoon of peanut butter... trust me, this works wonders!

Maybe go on freecycle to see if you can find people giving away exercise equipment?
Try Craigslist in your town for cheap equipment also
You could buy a cheap jump rope
Go out brisk walking or running
Do leg lifts and crunches on your floor at home
Don't pig out!

You may not see results immediately but it definitely helps.

Just want to tell you that "diets" don't work. They are just a quick fix.
Try going to a weight watcher meeting. I have been on the program a while, and it really works. They teach you how to eat, and what to eat!
Just go to www.weightwatchers.com & find a meeting in your area.
