Hello. I had an apiectomy performed on a large fron tooth last December. To make a long story short, the specialist declared the procedure a failure. The tooth is mobile and has pain from time to time.
He says I am a candidate for an implant. Cost $2400!
If I have this done, will the implant work? At the time of extraction, will I leave the office with some type of temporary tooth? Please help. Thanks. I have asked the dentist for a discount in light of the failed apio. I am waiting for his response. Thanks.

so here it is . . . i need to know how to clean out my colon . . . (feels kinda odd for me to ask , lol ) anyway , i am on a diet and i heard that is a great way to lose weight cause i'm not fat but i figure that might be whare i'm getting my extra weight .

now for the wierd part . . . a colonoscapy (however u spell it) is just a doctor putting a hose up your butt and water flows through it washing out evrything . can you do that at home ? maby with a shower head or something . . .

for the reccord , i am not doing it for fun , i have never done it before (obveously) , and i think it'd rlly help .

btw , are thier any downsides (medically) of you doing something like this? could this mess up your colon or anything like that by doing this? (what is worst case scenario)

My dad was bit by a deer tick. Where the tick was attached is a dark purpleish color and around that is really red. Its not real big but he says it hurts bad enough to wear it hurts to move his arm (it was on the back of his shoulder. What does this mean?

I am 20 and a virgin and I don't think I have a hymen. I can insert fingers into myself and I don't feel it. Could it be deeper inside than I can reach? I know it can get broken during other activities besides sex, but I'm not very active and I don't remember ever being in pain down there.

I have thoracic outlet syndrome along with 2 herniated cervical discs and one buldging disc. I also have straightening and narrowing of the c spine. I have had this going on since January and am in extreme pain. I've been seeing a chiropractor who has been doing cervical manipulation. i don't like it...my neck cracks so bad and hurts. Since he' s done this I have felt worse and now have ringing in the ears, ear pain and stuffiness and vertigo all the time. I feel sick. I also have trouble swallowing now. I'm a mess and don't know what to do. Anyone have any suggestions.

my hubby has really bad back pain and it flares up every couple of years really bad but he has a constant ache there all the time.
almost every visit to the dr come out with ibuprofen prescription and told to stay moderatly active
this time i have tried every over the counter rub spray ointment every herbal remedy potato garlic fish oil exercises muscle stetches
please if u have found the wonder product please please share it

Do contact lenses hurt the eyes? I will be in the 7th grade next Year and I wont to get same color contacts. So the kids will stop calling me strange. I was born with a blue left eye and light brown right eye. I Have been getting the "Your Weird" look since 1st grade. My Mom said its just unique because im black with different color eyes and that she will not buy me contacts because they will hurt my eyes in the Future (but if thats the case then why do they sell them?) My Dad says that their gonna get me in trouble with the ladies when I grow up ..??????

All I know is the kids call me evil or strange in class and when I go out with my mom her friends are always squezzing my cheeks and asking me to look up at them ..
Do contact really hurt your eyes if so whats another solution

I'm very worried, and she thinks it's the one on your throat where you get it cut out and can't talk, or you die from it.
More over, she's been acting bitter, crying, and a bit depressed. We're not the most functional or together family, but she's blaming us, because we are irresponsible, I'll admit it.
What bothers me most is, whenever she has an infliction (like this), and she's worried about it, she won't go see a doctor! She just gripes and complains, and cries about it! I think she'd probably get mad at me if I scheduled an appointment for her (What kind of doctor?? Radiologist?), and I"m not really sure how.
I've been praying for her, and yes, we're religious. When I was going through a rough time in life, she told me to pray and ask God for help, but now, she doesn't take he own advice. I know she prays, but when I tell her that it'll be alright, that God'll take care of her, she just sighs and says, "I don't know."
I'm really worried. Any help would be much appreciated. =(

I am almost 25 weeks pregnant but, for a couple of days I have been having spasms. they are in the center of my chest but, above my breast. I am not sure if it is heart realated. I went to the er a couple of weeks ago with severe acid reflux. ( that I had no idea was that) they did ekg, and cardiac triage. Everything with all blood work is fine. Could these spasms be heart realated. I get aniexty also, or could it be realated to the acid reflux and maybe esphagoal spasms. ??

I am not a picky eater, but like spicy foods. I have a very busy morning, because I wake up at 5:30 and leave the house at seven. In that time I shower, then dry my hair a bit, drink tea or lemon water, do my share of chores, work out strength training for about 15 minutes, eat breakfast, finish drying my hair and them I'm out the door. My breakfast is usually pretty healthy, two grain, two fruit, and one dairy serving (Whole grain cereal, berries, and yougurt or milk). Lunch is not so easy in a cafeteria, and its hard to get into my locker and be in the other building in time without the doors locking on me. There is a pizza line, a salad line but the only thing that is edible there is the lettice, everything else isn't fresh, a main meal line, and a fast food line that isn't really fast food. I usually get the baked chicken pattie topped with lettice and a bit of the edible tomato with a milk. Dinner varies, but is usually healthy. Any at home excercise ideas and better diet ideas?
